Everything's coming up cooler!

What is it about weather? August was HOT. But if I had to measure the effect of the heat on bus glass sales I wouldn't call them hot by any means. But now that September is here I'm thinking cooler doesn't have to mean slowing down. Just the opposite! What was a slow moving August has turned into a fresh and very cool beginning for Curved Glass with the crisp weather setting in. So just want to say thanks to all the fine folks out there that make these sales possible!

As with everything in life, there are days when you wish you would just stay in bed and pull the covers over your head to block out the rest of the world. It seems like all we read these days is how poorly companies are doing. I just turned 59, so I missed out on the Depression era. I don't think we can compare this period to those dark days. I think we have to remember that there are times in our lives when we need be more creative with what we have. These little blogs aren't going to change things dramatically, but at least they are a place where we can express ourselves. What I want to tell anyone out there that might be reading this is that Curved Glass Distributors is a company that believes in going forward. We are survivors. We don't allow the times and all the bad reports about the economy to rule us. We are here to make a difference in the world. Glass replacement parts may not be the big item on everyone's wish list. But there are times when all of you have had to deal with some aspect of the glass industry. Whether it be small issues like your car windshield that gets damaged, or you're a major city transit that needs to restock your inventory. It's kind of like companies that go by different names. For instance our parent name is Whalley Glass Company. But we do business as Curved Glass Distributors. And now we have added another name to get folks even MORE confused!!! No not really. So what of bus glass? It used to be what everyone called it. Today things are more sophisticated. Over the road buses are now coaches. And city buses are also called transit buses.
